At Client Focused Services, our Residential and NDIS Care Workers provide safe, supportive, and structured care for youth aged 12 to 17 who are living in out-of-home care placements. What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting and building strong, trusting relationships with young people in residential placements
- Following structured routines that support stability and growth
- Assisting with transportation to school, appointments, and community activities
- Engaging in daily living activities, including shared mealtimes and recreational tasks
- Implementing individualised support plans designed by our therapeutic team
- Contributing to a safe and positive home-like environment

About You
You are calm under pressure, committed to trauma-informed care, and genuinely enjoy working with young people. You also bring:
- A valid Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
- A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or HLTAID003)
- A National Police Check (within the last six months)
- A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Essential Qualifications
- Enrolled in or holding a Certificate IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention (or equivalent)
- Completion (or willingness to complete within three months) of the following units:
- CHCMHS007 – Trauma-Informed Care
- CHCPRT009 – Provide Primary Residential Care
- CHCCCS009 – Facilitate Responsible Behaviour
